Prospect Towers garage collapse will cost owner $12M for repairs, evacuation

More than 300 tenants who live at 300 Prospect Ave., an 18-story luxury apartment building, have been displaced after two parking decks of the garage and a 20-foot-long steel and plexiglass canopy caved in on July 16.
